By attending this talk, you will get to know how to build a B2C business based on David's success history, experience and learnings of the first B2C business for wine in China.

During one hour David Pedrol will explain his start back in 2008 of the first B2C business for wine in China in digital times. What was it like back then to run an ecommerce business and how it evolved up to today. In the session he will also explain the basics of running a succesful ecommerce business. What he has learned in his project which has been running for 10 years and where we his is now. Furthermore, he will discuss about latest tendencies in the market and what consumers will expect from us.

The session will be very participative and dynamic to adjust to the group's needs for learning from a first hand enterpreneur how to build a business from 0 to exit for over 100 million US. The mistakes David did and how he learned and adjusted in a competitive environment.

David has rich experience and solid educational background in Wine, Degree in Business Administration, Finance and Master in International Commerce. He specialized in wine from different factors of the industry with some harvest on his record and several vinification seasons in top companies. He majored in Wine Tasting and Commerce of Wine in London Wine Institute. He finalized holding the Educators program and teaching about wine in several countries and levels.
David has developed business in several countries of Europe and America. Over 10 years ago, he made his foot step into Asia. After years of success in Asia selling in the traditional channels, he ventured himself into a small project of Yesmywine. Thanks to his wine expertise and management skills, we have seen the fastest growing wine business in China of Yesmywine with over 9 million members and average of 35,000 bottles sold a day.
In June 2013, his company was chosen to be the world Number One B2C e-Commerce Platforms for selling wine. Furthermore, culminating this fantastic year, David is being selected on the 27th position in the Decanter Top 50 Power list magazine.
