Hubud Filmmakers Meet-Up

This month the Filmmakers Meet-Up at Hubud will talk about “Using Video As A Force For Good” with our special guest, Jacqui Hocking.

Jacqui is a Visual Storyteller & Female Founder, focused on solving the Global Goals. She began her career as a documentary filmmaker with the UN TOPtoTOP Global Climate Expedition, sailing around the world to collect global solutions for climate change. She has since filmed projects globally; from Maasai warriors in Tanzania to Sherpas on Mount Everest, carbon offset projects in the Amazon rainforest to iguanas on the Galapagos Islands! She is currently founding her third company, while supporting the B Corp Community Movement into South East Asia and creating the first ever Singapore Environmental Film Festival to be launch Nov 10-13th this year!

There will be opportunity to show your own social and environmental impact videos too.

Bring a link to your film or email it first to nadia@nadiaastari.com; or if it’s not available online, you can bring it on a flash disk on the night.

This event is open to all filmmakers and film enthusiasts. Being an independent filmmaker doesn’t mean you have to be alone. Let’s meet, connect, collaborate, share and learn from each other. All talents and disciplines are welcome!
