We are all avid travelers and love discovering new places, new faces and new cultures. Our travels always have some impacts on us, but we’re not always aware of the impacts of our travels.
Sitraka will share with you easy and hands-on tips on how to travel Zero Waste, by leaving no trash behind you or at least less trash: whether it’s “visible” or “invisible” waste. Moreover, she will also talk about how our health is closely intertwined with our sustainable choices: it’s not only for the sake of the environment but for ours too!
This talk is for anyone who wants to learn more about Zero Waste and sustainable lifestyle in general, with a focus on travelling.

What you'll learn:
- What a Zero Waste lifestyle is?
- How to easily switch to a Zero Waste lifestyle?
- How to plan your Zero Waste wanderlust?
- How to explore the world like a Zero Waste traveler?

About the speaker:
Born in Madagascar, Sitraka moved to France in 2002 to study Business Computing. Her wanderlust led her to different homes including Vancouver Canada, and lately Bangkok where she is transitioning from IT to the environmental field; while starting her digital nomad journey as an IT Freelancer.
Sitraka also launched Leavenotrash (http://leavenotrash.com) last March: a blog about Zero Waste travelling, the result of her passion for travelling and Zero Waste.
She is on her Zero Waste adventure since 2016: she has embarked on a giving back/learning journey by being involved with the Zero Waste Committee back in Vancouver, and by volunteering for green organizations while travelling.
