Creative Hour: Mandala Workshop

Do you want to clear your mind during your work day and re-boost your concentration? Join Anushka Kalro during her Mandala Workshop! She will take you on a journey to unravel the connection between meditation and creativity. 

A Mandala is a Hindu/Buddhist geometric figure. In Hinduism, it’s a deconstructed geometry of the lord’s energy. That's why every Hindu god is depicted with a unique Mandala. In Buddhism, Mandalas were the outcome of resonance on water as the monks saw them. Also in this case, they are depictions of energy.

What you'll be doing:
- in one hour session you will create a monochrome mandala inspired by Ubud
- you will learn how to deconstruct your thoughts and feelings into a geometric energy drawing. And no rules/guidelines for ‘doing it right’!

About the host:
Anushka’s passion for art and design began early. She grew up to become a Trans-disciplinary Designer with a specialization in Visual Communication Design. Afterwards, she pursued a program in Entrepreneurship for Emerging Economies at the Stanford University. Presently, she is in Bali working on a book for five to eight year old.
