In this Skill Share, Rick Levine will explore strategies for balancing the different parts of your life. Often, our beliefs and values pull us onto a spiritual path that is very different from our work/career path. Often, dreams of travel and adventure are in direct conflict with making a living. Nevertheless, it’s not difficult to lead a cosmic life while being fully engaged locally, wherever you are at the moment.

Rick's story is not your story, but it contains seeds for successfully growing your online life in a way that can produce income, along with soul satisfaction, over time. Finding your niche is a necessary step to success, but choosing your platforms, integrating various media, and bringing your expertise into the world requires an everchanging set of tools and a willingness to be innovative in your approach.

In 1982, Rick managed the first computer software store in the world. He has been involved in various aspects of software development, training, evaluation and distribution. However, He has also been studying and practicing astrology since the early 70s. Rick has written mass-market astrology books, a daily horoscope column read by millions of people, and has lectured/taught around the world. Rick's online story began in the mid-90s when the Internet was still in its infancy. Four months ago, he quit writing daily horoscopes for a publisher after 17 years and nearly 7 million words. He has now successfully launched his own business sharing his knowledge online.
